What's a Syndicate?

A syndicate is an investment vehicle that allows investors to co-invest with relevant and reputable investors in the real estate market.

What's a Leader?

Syndicate leaders are principals with vast experience in selecting investment opportunities and investing in them with deal flow that most investors don't have access to. They tend to be successful founders who have been part of the industry for many years and know its ins and outs.

What Makes a Good Leader?

There are three characteristics a syndicate leader should possess:

  1. Access to capital
  2. Proprietary deal flow
  3. Good judgement

It's worth noting that these requirements don't guarantee success. Investing in real estate is complex and risky, but co-investing can decrease the risk associated with it.

What's an Investor?

A syndicate investor is someone that either does not have a lot of experience in real estate investing or prefers to allow someone else to choose the real estate in which to invest and manage the investments. A syndicate investor could also be someone who wishes to pursue a real estate investment that exceeds their capacity to fund and/or their risk threshold.
